WheelieKiwi was originally started as a collaboration between two Christchurch-based friends.
In February 2009, when 400,000 standard Council wheelie bins were distributed to the city’s households, these two friends were determined to keep the streets of the “Garden City” looking beautiful – and WheelieKiwi was hatched…
WheelieKiwi wanted young kids and all Kiwis to be active recyclers, with everyone getting involved to make the wheelie bins fun and colourful for everyone to enjoy.
